Crawley Town have now moved up to 9th place in League 2 following a 5 game unbeaten run in January. The Reds started the month badly losing at Tranmere & Luton, but a draw against league-leaders gave the reds a morale boost. Blackmore pulled some strings singing 6 players, 4 on loan & 2 permanent deals. The Reds looked more confident & with Pericard in top-form and classy on-loan Hazell bagging 2 goals, Crawley thrashed Yeovil Town 5-1. Dumbya & Fridlund (loan) soon left to help balance the books.
The Reds then took at decent point at Shrewsbury thanks to new singing Anthony Elding's first goal for Crawley. Next they took on old-enemies Oxford United at The Broadfield, but with Pericard on top form, Oxford couldn't stop him. CTFC 3-0 OUFC. A Fantastic win recently followed up by a good 2-1 win over Bury at home.
