Not Bad Business!

Today 6th of January Crawley Town have confirmed the sale of promising young goalkeeper Paul McCardle for a fee of £250k to St. Pat's Athletic. Paul, 19 was a fantastic assest for the Reds after signing for 1k in summer of 2011. A gamble you could say by Blackmore but it 100% worked after the young keeper kept his number 1 jersey for the reds in an impressive promotion campaign. The young lad was drawing attention from several big names including his national team Northern Ireland with whom he made his debut against Denmark. But it wasn't the question of if he were to be sold but when. Not bad business for the reds mind you with a profit of £249k adding to the £100k Norwich figures.
